No nightlife. Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park is the draw.
Muonio is 2 300 people and one of the gateways to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park (1 020 km², third-biggest in Finland). There is no club, no pub crawl, and most evenings end early. Harriniva Wilderness Hotel runs an evening sauna + lobby-bar combo for safari guests, and Jeris Lakeside Resort does the same out by Lake Jerisjärvi. That's the Muonio "scene", honestly.
Lakeside hotel at Jerisjärvi: restaurant and bar for the evening.
No nightlife scene: the park is the reason to come.
Evenings end early on weekdays; a little later in holiday season.
Aurora-viewing is excellent here precisely because there is no light pollution.
