Today that means a winter snow park and the year-round SnowExperience365 indoor snow world with its ice-walled bar; the full castle with chapel and hotel is no longer built. Sampo Icebreaker cruises from December run nightly tours that double as bar venues. The mainland nightlife is small: Hotel Merihovi runs a layered complex (lobby bar, sports terrace, restaurant) and that's most of it. Industrial port town that punches above its weight in winter.
